No way. Luna Lovegood is gonna be played by Evanna Lynch. Also, Hillary Duff is an american. Ever since the 1st movie, JK Rowling had insisted that the actors and actresses will be brits.

All the actors for the Harry Potter movies have been from European countries and J.K. insists upon that. Plus I really don't think Duff would make a good Luna. I believe the new talent they have chosen for the 5th movie "The order of the Phoenix" which comes out in '07 is a wonderful choice.

I dont think they'd bring in a celebrity like Hilary Duff. The nly reason a celebrity is brought in is to hype a movie and Harry Potter movies are hyped enough

I like Hilary shes a good person inside without a doubt .. But her acting is like sitting in grammar class for 2 hours .. OMG thats a painful thought...
She needs to talk to her instead of allowing her cartoon self to analyze and i do mean (each and every hmmmmmm ) that is in a given episode... just practice talking country Hillary u will advance lot quicker!!!

No american actors or actresses have been in the Harry Potter series with the esception of Christopher Columbuses' daughter, who didn't have any lines. JKR doesn't want american actors in the story, since it is set in England. The actress who is going to play her is a new talet, Evanna Lynch.

No, they have pretty much stuck with European actors from the UK. So I can have a firm belief that Hillary Duff won't be an actress in their movies (s), as she was born and raised in texas.
