If you wear jeans and t-shirts all the time then you will feel strange wearing something nice because it's not what you are used to. Also you may, even if you don't realise, be wondering what other people will think. Whether they will think you look nice or if they will think you look strange because they are not used to seeing you like that.

Could be because you probably are shy or reticent by nature and find it difficult to handle the admiring glances, compliments that go with it also you have a heightened level of awareness when you feel like this, so it feels as if everyone is looking at you and a part of you wonders what they are thinking and if you have overdone it.
Chill, relax, look good and feel good and make a greater attempt to look good always slowly but surely the uncertainties would slip away.

maby you are feeling nervious to what people may think or say to you. you should wear what you like with confidence you be yourself dont take to mind what people say and dont feel nervious wear what you want
