I quit my previous job, and was looking for another one. A friend suggested that I apply for my current job (she worked at the same company), and I didn't really want to, but I did it anyway because I felt desperate. I was offered the job on the spot because of my degree and my job experience, and I figured I could just work there until I found something else because it didn't pay enough.
Anyway, it has turned out to be the best job I've ever had, and when you prove your worth, your employer will pay out of the wazoo to keep you!

I was working in the HR dept., for the same company I work in now, and saw the job advertised (IT Assistant), and thought 'Bugger it, I'll go for it', because I've always enjoyed playing around with computers and stuff (not just the internet). I got the job, and its actually the most fun I've had. Really fufilling job! Money gets better, because I've just had a pay rise! =D

close to home
had experience, thought it would be great!
to work there; a major player, a big institution.
And i love food and people
But I've noticed a trend.....
Some Employers have a slave master ideology going on,
So I have ventured into the home based business arena!
The net if i can ever grasp it; will be lucrative/ as well as helpful
to my philanthropy needs.... feed the children, domestic violence,
the homeless, etc......
I still work in my current JOB,
My heart wants to service humanity?
hopefully that wasn' to much

I dreamed about working on aircraft since I was a kid. I wanted to do something exciting, so I joined the military side of aviation. I didn't want to do anything else, a deskjob would have bored me to death, and I worked in retail over one christmas and hated every second of it, being nice to people who sometimes didin't deserve to be treated nicely.

I applied for several companies, after my graduation, and joined the one that offered my a job. And why everybody works? To lead a life, with our family. Is it not?

actually every individual aims for more than what they have, you just cant stop looking for the right thing or particularly the right job...like me im trying to look for a job which will help me to further improve my skills and give me a better compensation, the one which will help me pay my bills, it depends really on your situation...good luck on finding one
