Im thinking of buyin a pc but it is quite hard to find a laptop that is cheap enpough for me to buy with the right graphics and processor speed. They either come with one or the other. I found 1 with 1.66ghz processor asnd 512mb graphics. would that be good.
Do you think something like this (http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/572_314315.html) would be able to play FEAR adequalty on???
Thanks for all the help

More important would be what graphics card you have. Anything older than an ATi 9800PRO might be painful. And if your CPU is 1.66GHz, then your video card might too old as well, but who knows...

It could run, might be very slow.

Best thing to do is check the minimum requirements for the game and see if your PC is anything close to it. So long as you have a decent graphics card and a good bit of RAM, should be ok.

it will work on your process r but what is your video card capabilities it should be 128 mb Gforce or Fxseries will do and a memory of at 512 mb or higher if you dont meet the two requirement there is a possibility of video logging or slower action when you played FEAR, it is a good game

ive played it on a pentium 3(866mhz) with 512 ram ,radeon 9250,and settings on low,and it ran ok,but a 1.66ghz should easy play it on low settings, make sure you have min ram required
enjoy!
