from childhood to adulthood

I am not sure that 'life' and 'control' belong so directly in the same sentence.
Life is what happens to us when we try to make plans.
The transition from childhood to adulthood is the most major change that we make in life. Trick is that we don't choose the timing of it or the full outcome.
What happens between childhood and adulthood ?
* certainty becomes doubt
* black and white becomes grey
* parents change from useless to useful
* we discover boys or girls (with a vengence)
* play becomes real
* consequences from our choices now matter
* if you do something wrong you can go to jail
* best of all .. the emotional roller-coaster slows down
Controlling feelings means just that 'control'. Let feelings out with balance, in the right way, in the right way.
