How can people who devote their lives to animal rights sleep at night when millions of children are dying of AIDS, hunger, disease and extreme poverty each. Maybe its better than seeking purely their own interests but doesn't it seem like they have some seriously irrational priorities? Do they like animals more than people?

Let me say first that I LOVE animals. But I do love people more. PETA has done a few great things for the animals in our world, but I would agree that they are a little over the top sometimes. Hey, we all have our "thing" that we latch onto as a social cause. And there are A LOT of social causes to choose from. So if for some people its animals, I guess more power to them. It's better to care about SOMETHING than nothing at all.

How can you say that anmials have feelings just like we do they feel lonely and sad just like we do they bleed and SUFFER just like we do!! they are a good orgination there is a lot of suffering in this world if one person helped one thing it would be diffrent we all can fight a difrent campaign to help children and aids but dont you care about anmials they care about anmials because the bottom line is they get tested on they suffer in silence and die in lonileyness the question is dont YOU are about anmials or do u just want them to suffer let other campaigns help people that are suffering leave this campaign alone

Amen brother I totally agree with you, it's maddening that anyone would cry over the death of a dog when millions of humans are suffering everyday. I don't think a penny should go to protecting pets and animals from cruelty as long as a single human being on this planet is subject to cruelty and abuse.

oeta is just doing what they believe in. while i believe in tghe idea of peta, their form of protests are ignorant (going up to bbeyonce in a restraunt ie and also wrapping their naked bodies in celophane on uc's across california) it is purey what bothers them and what they study;. just because they publisize cruelty to animals does not simply mean they dont care about people with aids, or poverty. its just the organization that they are in. if someone worked at a book store does that mean they dont care to watch movies? but hey atleast they are doing someting to better our enviornment as*hole, which is more you can say, since you just sit here posting about how stupid peta is which neither helps animals nor aids in africa.

I is rather funny the animals they free it is usually to late for them. Those animals usually die a worst death than if the PETA people never knew of them.

I feel like I should answer this question , since 1 of the 2 charities I support is feed AMERICAN children. I love my dog but if I had to chose between my dog and my kids...no choice...the dog would be dinner...on that note (since I know now that all the bleeding hearts are gonna kill me)...Why would you give money to support animals when you could give money to support ppl? Better yet children?...Then (to my way of thinking)...Why give money to support forgein children?...Don't we have enough problems at home? Just my opinion....If you want the address to feed AMERICAS children or to suport your Veterans email me!

They are all a bunch of idiots. i have my share of unfriendly encounters with them outside Saks and Neiman Marcus a while back. i just like to punch them or run them over with the car when they start comparing how would i feel if a baby seal or chinchillas will have to wear my skin, morons! like i care for that.
