Constitutional monarchies matches a democractic parliament system with the advantage of haviing a non-political Head of State who can be a long term figurehead for the nation. This has certain advantages of a Repulian or Federal form of government. Barbie is probably referring to an Absolute Monarchy where the power lies in the sole hands of the monarch, which unlike Constitutional Monarchy is undemocratic.

Yes, a constitutional monarchy is a fine thing.
The power is in the hands of democratically elected officials, but the representative duties are carried out by the monarch.
Politicians are/may be identified with certain polical parties or ideologies, religions, etc. but, as a symbol of the nation as a whole the monarch stands above politics and any other sectarian divides and is respected by all.

no, i rpefer to have the ability to elect who i want to run the country, or myself have the oportunity to run the country. not some snot nosed kid just because his father was the king now he is.

the world is much more stable today thanks to the lack of egotistic monarchs running around everywhere.
