The Stand was by far the best book, the movie didn't compare. However, the best movie was The Shining, with Jack Nicholson. The movie was every bit as good as the book. I can still picture him putting an axe through the door, saying "Here's Johnny". Loved it.

I haven't seen them all, but I definitely LOVE Shawshank Redemption and Green Mile.
I haven't seen alot of the scary ones, except for Dreamcatcher, and the book was better than the movie for that one.
I think his book with Paul Straub "Black House" would be a wild movie to see, it would be hard to make it into a movie, which is why I guess it isn't a movie.

The Green Mile. It's so human. The guy who played the one accused of killing the little girl was an incredibly good choice for that role. He made the character come alive. It's a very emotionally moving film.

Probably the Shining.
It's one of the few books from him that I never read, so I couldn't be disapointed when the movie was so different.
The movie, in my opinion, was actually very scary, and that is what I liked about it.
