is he an alien or something? can he really think like an adult? why can they hear the dog talk? the "pletoria" episode, how come one of the guests heard stewie talk?
can someone explain what the concept of the show is?

I think you're hearing what he's saying in his head, and that everyone else is hearing toddler talk. He's saying all of those big words, but what actually comes out of his mouth is toddler talk.

I think they took the idea for stewie from the movie baby geniuses where basically the can talk to other babies etc as if they were adults. I think this because of season 5 he talks to his friends and they all understand each other.
From there I think they just twisted it so he would want to kill his mother, and think the grim reaper is brilliant.
Just a thought, however it is only a cartoon and there is no need for there to be a masterplan behind stewie. I think they simply didn't want another Maggie on thier hands.

It's a whacked out show about a family. It is the Simpsons on acid. There really isn't a concept. That show gets crazier and crazier every year. It has such a huge following, that Fox brought it back after cancelling it. I love that show and watch it instead of the Simpsons. Stewie is so funny (he's like Side Show Bob of the Simpsons in a baby's body). He is the screensaver on my phone.

The idea is that only the dog can understand him as he is speaking child gibberish. Thus all of the responses to him really don't fit to his statements.
