I would defintatly change. Its very important that both you and your child feel comfortable with the pediatrician.

Yes that happened to me and I looked around for a new one (2X). Youre not obligated to stay with any doctor you do not like or feel comfortable with. Search around for a new doctor...and you are not *betraying* the doctor you have been going to if you change..its patient's rights!
If you want you can talk to your current doctor about why you are changing, I did and I felt WONDERFUL for letting her know, left her with something to think about and I did it with *class*. Dont be afraid this is for your peace of mind and your child.

well i will suggest if u don't like him change as whatever he will tell u will not feel like doin it n that is not good for ur child.
if u have an option n has another good one nearby then go for that one.
same thing i did --one of my friend told me about this pediatrician n went n met him n from the very first day i did not like him cause he gave so many antibiotics to my daughter who was just 3 months old n for simple cold. it wasn't severe . so if u have a reason then u shud change n just for the sight of it don't change him/her.

Yes, I had a man, and he irritated me to death because he treated me like i was an idiot just because i am female. He wouldn't listen to my concerns or explanations fully. I worried about the health of my baby, so i found a woman doctor! She listens to all of my concerns, and she doesn't just pop off with "all babies cry" when I know in my heart that she has colic! You need a doctor you can trust, and feel comfortable talking about anything with! It is important for your child's health.

Its extremely imporant to have a good peditrican that you like and can trust changing may be a hassle but it might be worth it especially if your child gets sick you want the best on your side
There is a link on the below site about finding a good peditrican under the printable form section. Good luck.

Yes, I did. That mean man gave me shots when I was three. Also, he had knotty pine panelling in his waiting room, and I've been afraid of hunting lodges ever since.
It's 5 a.m., and I can't sleep.

Yes, and it was the best thing I ever did. He was the cause of alot of problems. One was pushing me to feed him solids too soon, when he wasnt really ready. Me, the new mom, just went along and now my son has (mild) eating disorders....
