Usually society sees an asian woman with a white male. This is a common sight. An asian man with a white woman is rare. I think that I have only seen an asian man with a white woman 3 times in my life and it was in california.
I guess if you truly love the woman and she loves you back, what does it matter?
However if you are worried that it might look weird to the public eye, then you will have a hard time in your relationship.
Most people will stare rudely at you, or notice that you are with a white girl mainly because it is different and uncommon. It's kinda like when I saw an asian man with a black woman once, and I couldn't help but notice it because I have never seen that before.
So if you are worried about what people think then you will always have stress leaving the house with her. If you both love each other than try not to care what people think. People look at me weird all the time and I am an asian woman that dresses conservatively. People will stare for whatever reason so I think you should just be happy and marry her.

No, but it certainly presents its own difficulties. These complications have nothing to do with race and everything to do with culture. I'm an American and my last three boyfriends have been European (not just by descent, but actually born and raised in Europe). There have been a number of arguments between us due to cultural differences as to what is "normal" behavior and what is not.

There are have been much less problems of that vein with my current guy, but that may be because he has lived in the U.S. longer than the others. Just try and be patient with one another's differences and things will work themselves out.

I was with an arobic man for over a year and now we are planning on getting married. He now back in the middle east with his mother for a few months. He was in the usa for ten years so he adjusted quite well. The strange thing was praying. Friday was a holy day and at certain time that day he had to get wash his feet and get his rug and pray. Then on non holy days he prayed also. He prayed ahla. ( might be spelled wrong) If a person loves each other then there is nothing wrong with getting marriage. It gives the children a chance to learn another language and experience different cultures. No I do not think it is wierd. If I was not in love I would love to marry a man from australia. THere voice alone turns me on.

It is not weird. So many people have married that way. You may be uaware of it. Hope the clash of cultures does not happen. The value systems are different in Asian and European cultures. So tread with caution.

No. I don't see any weird things about it. I know lots of Asian and European tied the knot. I'm an open-minded person and racial issues was not into me. I have girlfriends from webdate*dot*com and they are not bothered about our different race.

wondering how others may feel, i do hope is not your main priority when considering marriage. when all that matters is how you and your partner feel about one another. it just so happened to work out that i married an asian being from the usa. your true friends should rejoice in your happiness so dont worry so much about it....good luck.

There is nothign wrong with multi-cultural relationships, however you have to think that your children will not belong to either culture afterwards!!
