the saved video can be in .mpeg or .avi or whatever. can u give me a freeware not a trial?

The best way is Windows Movie Maker in Windows XP else you may choose many softwares like VCD Cutter or anyother. You may download freeware as well as shareware softwares from www.softpedia.com. There will be may options for you. If your operating system is windows xp then you can you use windows movie maker program. you can cut your video into clips and keep the original one too. it is easy to use and free.

I think also you can download it for free if you don't use windows xp.

your hardware should of came with sofware to help you out if you are downloading from the net you can use windows media on your computer to edit it.

well save the org. video clip then open the clip and edit it as you want to ... cut out all that dont need or even add wat ever you want when you are done just go to
file
save as
*choose a new name* ok

there you go its all done.
