It depends on what level of the math the tutor is needed for. I would charge a minimum of ten dollars per hour.

the tutor I pay is an assistant principal and a math teacher who will be writing a book about Pre-algebra / He charges 20.00 per hour. seems reasonable to me. and worth it if my kid learns from it.
