i brought 3 news halter tops!
They are all the same cut, but different sizes. I wear a medium, but was only able to get a large in two of the shirts. i was wondering how i could shrink the two large shirts into mediums. The fabric feels no different than regular tee shirts.
if you dont know the answer, i would be grateful if you could give me a website that may know or point me in a direction of my answer.

Usually if they are a cotton shirt material, well, they will shrink if you wash and dry HOT.
If they are a good quality cotton blend, they probably won't shrink too much.
Perhaps you could alter them?
It is pretty easy to take in some seams on alot of those type clothing articles.

If you have access to Anhydrous Ammonia and have a mask then you can shrink a shirt. Just stick it in, let it soak, take it out and let it dry and repeat as necessary.
Some companies in the textile industry use Ammonia for that same purpose.
Ive shrunk a dollar bill to half the size.

Wash the T-blouse in truly warm water. upload baking soda to the water to maintain any writing or illustrations. Dry outfits in a truly warm dryer (that is even as the final public of the shrinking will take position). leave the blouse interior the dryer for a jiffy after the dryer. even if it remains too huge placed it interior the dryer back at a truly warm temperature. Ironing them with a warm iron even as they're truly damp (in simple terms about drenched). Push the iron from the outer edges of the garment in the direction of the interior so as that the garment isn't inadvertently stretched as you iron. save ironing till the garment is about dry, then throw it interior the dryer at a extreme temperature. i am hoping that this helped and that your blouse shrinks to in nice condition you!

If they are made entirely of cotton and are not preshrunk, the best way to go about shrinking them is to wash in hot water.

What's the material? Cotton will more than likely shrink when it is washed. Wash it in hot water.

Hot water will not shrink you shirts, sorry. However, after you wash them, place them in your clothes dryer on the hottest possible setting. They will shrink.
