OK, I am a Junior College student in california looking for a BSN program to begin in the spring of 2007. I have been going thru the schools one by one on allnursingschools website but there is no way to filter based on my needs. What i would really like in a school is 1)2 years of core studies as opposed to three 2)public school or other as long as tuition runs less than 14k per year 3) no nursing classes as prerequisites 4) start date in the spring as well as the fall 5) non-religous school-that is to say i dont want to have to be a certain religion to attend, but i do believe in god, i just dont want nuns smacking me around (bad joke)6) no CNA req. COURSEWORK I HAVE COMPLETED anatomy, physiology, microbio, biochem, organic chem, stats, algebra, hist., psycology, sociology, english, diversity stud., gen bio, gen chem, philosophy, logic, + poly sci, lifespan in progess (and more electives) 3.95 gpa and 99th percentile TEAS and SAT please help if you know anything local in your area.

Currently i am trying Cal state long beach, but there two year program is by lottery so i need a backup in case i dont get in, Wash state looks good also in pullman, but im sure theres somewhere out there that someone knows about, so hook me up! oh also is there such a thing as "accelerated" w/o a bachelors? I saw John Hopkins has a 13 month program but it doesnt say whats the requirement, i assume bachelors. Also where are the cheapest BSN schools?

You're in luck. UCI just opened their four year nursing program. The first batch starts this fall. Start applying for next year. But, as everyone knows, UC standards are higher compared to cal state system. Good luck.

get in here - Philippines and see for your choice. you'll just spend a matter of about 4K dollars in a year in exchange of a quality education.
