No, but I read his earlier books. They are page turners. He is a good fiction writer in the religion genre.

I have read Monster. I don't know if you're looking for more info on the basic plot...or if you've already read it and want to know what others think about it. But I'll do a bit of both.

Typically I enjoy Frank Peretti. I absolutely loved The Visitation and some of his earlier works. This book, Monster, is more like The Oath than his earlier works. It is definitely an action-type thriller...and it did keep me reading...however his earlier works had more of a Christian/spiritual theme...which I thought this one was lacking. That doesn't mean it's not good writing....just that I thought his other books had more of an impact and a statement regarding life and world views and whatnot...and this one just entertained.

The "Darkness" books by Peretti were excellent. I haven't been able to get into any of his stories since (though I did finish "The Prophet" way back when).

Not yet, but I'll look for it! I've read his "This Present Darkness," "Piercing the Darkness" and "The Oath." All very good books!
