A friend showed my son that little trick in the pool at about 6 months, now when I give him a bath at night, I get a shower and the bathroom gets a wash down all at the same time.
I hope you know what you have gotten yourself into now. lol
Once they have it figured out it is the coolest thing in the world to them. Your daughter may not have a lot of strength yet, but my 20 month old takes pride in trying to get as much water out of the tub as he can.
put a rug on the floor or towels and have fun with it, just don't get upset of you get soaked as well.

Listen very carefully... If you live in an old (pre1950) home and the tub is original you may very well be poising your child with lead.
The porcelain of old tubs and sinks were made with a great deal of lead. The glaze kept it intact. But as the glaze wares off the lead becomes leachable into the water.
Bath your child but do not not let her drink the tub water..
Again this is only for homes built about 1950 or older..

no, it is so precious! At this point you regret nothing everything is a joy! You will get wet, but you can change your shirt enjoy and take lots of pictures!
Just a quick note...my youngest (now 4) a few monthes ago was playing in the tub with his dinosaurs (all my boys LOVED them) and somehow "accidentally" got about an inch of water all over the whole bathroom floor!

You might regret it if she does it all the time and certainky if she splashes so hard that the water goes in her eyes and she starts screaming! Apart from that, it's all fun. My baby does it on his own now(he's 1) but if he wants a bth he shakes his arms as if he is splashing so that's good too.

No, my 2 year old son loves to splash around the tub and play in his "bubble-bapp" - He doesn't splash so much it makes a mess or gets hurt or anything. He just has fun and gets cleaned up!

No, you won't regret it, In fact, I've known of parents who are teaching their babies to swim as young as one month. So why not teach your baby to love the water and start giving her lessons, it may save her life.
