How does a girl nowadays maintain a healthy body image if the media has different messages constantly bombarding her?

No, your butt makes your bum look fat.
Stop paying attention to what the media says is the perfect size! There is no such thing! Learn to love yourself just the way you are and to Hell with the media's mistaken views on beauty!

the media states the beautiful and sexy shape, not the healthy form of the body.
besides, there are not strict standards and measurments when it comes to the healthy shape, cause the measurments that can be considered as healthy and well fitted to me maybe considered as an over weight sign to another.
u see, the main prob with the media is that it doesnt pay attention to the differences between ppl, all girls are tall, skinny and beautiful. if u'r short, not good lookin and fat, you'r out!!

If you feel comfortable with the way you are then it doesn't matter what the rest of the world thinks is "in". 95% of america has a large butt. The other 5% is on tv, and in magazines.

I love my body!
I started a job that let me see the darker side of modeling and how the pictures look before they air brush them and trust me the way to make people appreciate their bodies more is to let them see the untouched photos before they make it into the magazines.
I also determine whats in for me. I'm not gonna copy someone else to make myself fell this way or that. I'm me all day!
AND I LOVE IT!

the trends in life will always change but i don't care what's the trend...you can't make a skinny butt look big or a big butt look skinny ...i don't care who's name is on the lable.

I'm more likely to ask: "Do these pants make my butt look flat?" Just make the best of what nature gave you by taking care of yourself, and nevermind trying to adjust it to what the media says is "in". :O)

the jeans do and if ur butts too fat u cant fit through doors and bathroom stalls and u shake the ground when u walk

be who you want to be. and ignore them .there will always be the thick girls with the body and there will always be people who think being rail thin is cute...but you weigh the weight u want to..just tone tone up and look good in whatever you have on.
