Where else would it collect? :) :) just kidding! But really, on a serious note, lint only collects in an innie and not on an outie.

You know how lint collects on your underarms and in between your toes? It's the same thing with your bellybutton.

Because lint colects on your shirt and pants. And the inside of your shirt and pants rub against your bellybutton forcing lint inside.

There was a study done on this not that long ago. It's the hair around your belly button! No kidding! The hair for 15cm was shaved from around the belly button of some men and left unshaved around others. The hairy guys still got fluff the shaved guys didn't. And some government paid somebody to find this out!!! Wish I could get money for do study like that! :-)

Because of the way its shaped....It's like a lint trap. It comes off your t-shirts And it doesn't come back out very easily.
Clean it with a Q-tip and peroxide.

This is true! That lint comes from your pubic area!
Test it out...
where one color shirt and a different color pants andu underwear. The lint will be the color of your pants and underwear.

I don't know but there is always a cute little ball of it in my husbands bellybutton, kinda like a gift. Such fun foreplay, picking it out. lol...............
