a baseball cap is only a baseball cap when you're playing baseball. Otherwise, it's just a cap with a logo; could be of a football team, your employer, whatever.

Why do they put the names of basketball teams on baseball caps? Who knows? Because they know people will buy stuff with the name of their favorite team.

well, the only kind of hat there is in football is a football helmet and as stupid is most football players are, even they would not want to walk around wearing a football helmet. besides, baseball is a WAY better sport anyways!
