It is not possible to answer the question.
It was a real place for sure, but the Global Flood has changed the whole topograhy of the world, so it doesn't make sense to ask the question in relation to the current layout of continents.
Some people say it is in the Middle East - presumably becuase Genesis describes a single headwater which split into 4 rivers, 2 of which were called the Tigris and Euphrates. However these are clearly not the current rivers of these names. Most likely Noah reused the familiar names in the same way as New York was named by the pilgrims after the 'original' city in Yorkshire, England.
