I'm just asking because some people's perceptive of losing their virginity is different.

For example, some belive you lose your virginity when you give hj's or bj's (sorry I don't know what is censored on yahoo!answers) or anything oral.

But some believe that you only lose your virginity through a complete act of penetration with the penis and vagina.

I was just wondering about how some of you view this.

What do you consider a virgin?

Being a Virgin is an Honor. It means you care enough about your own body and you are going to wait for your wedding night. I consider a Virgin as someone who doesn't pertake in any kind of sex, which means intercourse, oral sex (Which by the way hj's and bj's are considered oral sex) anything that make you feel wrong. I am 46 years old and I wish I had waited, because I am now with the man I want to spend the rest of my life with and I had nothing sacred to give to him that was only for him.And it's going to hurt. So make sure it is the man you are going to spend the rest of your life with. In my days penetration was the only thing we knew how to due to loose our virginity, but know it's seems to be a free for all. Anytime you are doing something with some else's sex organs then you are loosing you virginity.Be one of the Honorable ones. Because all it is, is a seven minute wonder and they get more of a releif then you do and then they spread your name through the mud,

A virgin is someone who has had no sexual experience AT ALL with another person. Masturbation doesn't count (or shouldn't).

What about a lesbian who never has intercourse in her whole life with a man, yet had hundreds of (female) lovers during the course of her lifetime.

Is she a virgin on her death bed at age 80 because she never had intercourse with a male?

And what about males (gay or straight?)--are they virgins unless they put their weenees into a VAGINA?

it's more of a philosophical question...

being VIRGIN means pure and chaste.. someone who has not involved herself or himself in any form of sexual gratification, be it masturbation or with a partner.
