one that you are not sure you can deal with and you need to talk to someone, who do you go to?

I'm usually the one people come to, so that's tough for me.

I pray about it. Once I have some perspective, I'll talk to my husband or my sister.

You know, this might sound strange, but my mom. I know she's 80 something, and sometimes things I might share will really bother her, (so I don't really tell her much as I used to) But no matter what I've ever said or did, she's come up with the amazingest answers, like they were right under my nose all the time, and I feel really calm inside. She's a really wise woman. These days, since we're so far from each other, I talk to my husband. He's pretty good too. I'm glad I've got both these people in my life because sometimes I can be a little crazy. (Sometimes its my husband that drives me crazy, in that case, I just ride the storm until it ends. Thank God that storms end.)

As for consulting God or Jesus, those two already know, so all I say to them is : "Hey!" And they say back: "Hey!" Then we smile as if we've had an eternal conversation and everything is better. If I need more than that, I'm the one who's the problem, not anything outside of me.

Friends, family, and most of all--God. You don't even need to follow a religion or go to church every Sunday or fight a jihad. Just believe in God's power and his knowledge of everything, and I do mean -everything-, even the future, and that He loves you even if nobody else does and that He knows the answers, He might not tell you them, but He will listen to what you have to say, and though He cannot respond 1 on 1 verbally to you, if you know how to interpret things that are to happen (which isn't a hard skill that you need a book for, it is achieved through faith), you will know God's responses.

There are many discussion groups on line depending on the nature of the problem. Have you tried doing a search on either Google or Yahoo? Or you can look inside yourself for the solution. Try this approach. Ask yourself, "What effect will this have on my life in 10 years?" Then be very honest with your answer to yourself.

Story Junkie u always make me smile....I feel the same way about God and "Hey!" lol Thats funny.

But as to whom thats mortal, living, and imperfect....well that would be my boss of all people. She works at a crisis line place and deals with stuff of that nature for a living ....as I do....but she has alot more experience and I have found her to be very wise and objective. I like that I can talk to her. She is a nice person. It is cool that she is my boss too.

It depends on the situation, but I find that most of the time I can go to my family with the question/situation and they are really good at providing wise advice.

Hope that this helps.

Love as always,

Sebastian

I used to go to whom I thought was a "true friend" but found out it was far from fact.....I would like to go to someone whom I feel I should be allowed to, but I have been banned from that particular situation, so I utilize another ( in the same capacity) to compensate........

my teddy bear. he always listens. and you may find while talking, you may come up with the solution yourself. If that doesn't work, you can always phone a help line. Or post the question on Yahoo answers.

My husband, or a very good friend, depending on the situation.

Try to deal with it on my own first... or then, call a "tried friend", someone I knew since ages... or call my parents, or grandparents..... or my uncle and aunt - I am in very close relations with my old friends from childhood and with my family.....
