Depends on how bad it is.....

Kava Kava is good. I pray, meditate, do deep breathing exercises, walk on the treadmill, do a menial task that I can cross off my list and feel good about finishing, read, and listen to music.

But if it's really bad, I revert back to Dr. Pepper. Don't know how many times I've given it up. But that's how my husband knows it's bad news - I've got the Dr. Pepper in hand. Could have worse addictions, I guess. ;o)

There are so many ways to do this. Take a vacation. Go and find a quiet spot to meditate. Write in a diary or Journal. Go for a walk. Listen to some music. Watch a favorite Movie. Have Sex. Eat some chocolate. Take a relaxing bath with lavender scented bath oil. Light some candles. Talk to a friend. Take your dog for a walk. Don't take life too seriously. Take a day at a time. Reminisce about the good times. Don't sweat the small stuff! Say a prayer. I am sure there are a whole lot more things that people can think off. Enjoy! I hope that this helps.

Well, if it's too much, I cry. But it takes ALOT to make me do that. That's beyond stress for me. But crying it out actually makes me feel better. That hasn't happened in a long long time, though. I download anime and watch it. It's a breath of fresh air from American stuff, and sometimes a little weird, but nevertheless, there's a certain noble naivete that I find charming, and it grounds me. I know. Really strange hobby for a 40 something woman. But you see, my sewing machine has never worked properly....(when are they going to upload smileys for this question thingy?)

oh crap, christians arent supposed to masturbate? haha Then I am screwed. That cant be true lol.

Anyways, I would say I deal with stress in various ways but my favorite is swimming. I will swim hard and fast until I have washed away the freakyness. haha

I also like to write poetry and paint when it is building up like a volcano...my best works came that way.

Go for long walk or run @ a nature reserve.

And if the stress is way too much, take a trip and do something impromptu: kayaking with dolphins ;) or skydiving or white water rafting.

I quit letting myself get stressed. I find something to do that keeps my mind off anything that bothers me or I talk about it.. Sometimes I go to the gym, play music, or read how others handle similar sitations. The first thing I do is pray though.

Most of the time I simply pray....Beside that I spend as much time with family members who love me & care about me. The remainder of the time is on here answering questions, especially those that relate to my particular situation. Sometimes it helps, others not so much as my make believe world is shattered by the reality of the question being asked and the answer that I truthfully give....

Exercise, fresh air, and realizing that when stress happens, there is usually a lesson to be learned. I try to find the lesson and adjust my attitude and habits accordingly.
