Cubic centimeters; referring to the volume the cylinders in an engine can hold. CC is predominantly a European displacement measurement. American manufacturers tend to use Liters exclusively, though we also measure displacement in cubic inches.
A 2.0 cc engine has .4 cc's more volume than the 1.6 cc engine, and therefore can generate more power because it can consume more fuel.
Though in this case I think you're confusing liters with cc's. In this case, they're not interchangeable. 2 cc's is an awfully small amount, but 2.0 Liters (L) is not. When one refers to the cc volume of an engine, the measurement is usually in the five-figure range.

cc stands for cubic centimeters. It refers to the equivalent amount of water that is displaced volumetrically in total for all cylinders. "Generally" the larger the displacement of an engine the higher the horsepower, and unfortunately also the fuel consumption. Also the larger the engine as an option, the vehicle price goes up, but the larger engine may also bring up the resale value of a car.

cc should be ccm or cubic centimeters. What it stands for is the total piston chaimber space (displacement) in your engine or the total of one complete cycle on your engine. a 1.6 uses much less than a 2.0 how much depends on the optimum mixture of fuel/air mixture for your particular engine. As in regard to hp it would depend on the configuration of your pistons and the travel. ei if you have a 2 liter engine with large pistons the travel will have to be shorter having high RPMs, if you have a 2 liter engine with small pistons the travel will have to be longer having lower RPMs.
Hp is the turning power that both engines can have to be similar in a 1.6 and a 2.0 however as you can see from my explenation above if you would be looking for more torque (the power delivered at the rurning weels) a 2.0 would definitely have the advantage as it can have more travel than a 1.6.

CC-cubic centimetre/centimetre cube
a cube of 1cm*1cm*1cm
it a measure of the volume
in a bike cc refers to the volume of fuel which the cylinder of the engine can hold
if the cc increases the hp of the engine also increases but the mileage decreases.
the price of the vehicle increases as it needs more efficient technology, improved grade of metals.

1000cc equals 1 liter...
so a 4.6 liter mustang has a 4600cc engine..
a 5.6 liter dodge truck has 5600 cc of engine displacement...
also 1 liter equals about 61 cubic inches... so a 5.6 liter dodge engine equals a 360 ci engine... or 5.0 liter mustang motor a 302 ci

cubic centimeters. the higher the nos. the bigger the engine. higher nos. cost more use more gas.also have more power. the difference between a 2.0 liter and 4.o liter is smoking the tires.
