I think he sends Jason to do all of the jobs outside of coronation st,
he doesn't have the time to work,hes to busy.evicting old people and children,pushing women to the verge of nervous breakdowns,and keeping up with Tracey's sneaky evil ways lol

I am surprised he can afford to buy Keith's house. He does seem to scrap around for a living! I guess that is why he wears the same clothes all the time.
