I am about to reread the books but i think the movie at least left it open for the sequel books. Resturaunt would be next. Does anyone know if they plan to tell any if not all of the other books?

I very much doubt it as the plot of the film was really rather different from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, so I don't really see how they can take it forward to the next film.
I personally think it is a relief, the film was a massive disappointment in my opinion.

If they do make all the books into films, they need to go more by the actual books. The movie absolutely sucked. Sorry, but there were no redeeming qualities about it. The BBC series in I think it was the 80s was not perfect, but it was far better than the movie. It would be great to bring the genius humor of Douglas Addams to the masses of lazy people who don't read, but I don't think it'll ever happen effectively.

I dont think they will do the rest, i think it wil be too difficult, since by reading the books i have realised that a lot of it would be impossible to be made to look good
