the actual film was started from the walt disney ride in disneyland california called pirates of the carribean, his caracture is supposed to be based on kieth richards but i think that is just peoples interpretation and johnny has taken the role and made it unique just as he does all his other roles. all the papers say he is either drunk or gay, well i just think he is gifted and wonderful actor and if he does'nt get an oscar for this then it is a fix

When out tonite and seen Pirates 2,didn't like it as well as the first one.But anywayKEITH RICHARDS.Take a look at the movie STONED,out on dvd,its about the Rolling Stones founder Brian Jones.Good Flick.
