Every log in a day entitles u to 1 pt. Each answer by u is 2. Each 'best' answer is 3 -10 depending on the stars rating by asker. Then each vote casted by u is 1 pt. After every question u ask, u can gain 3 pts by choosing the best response generated. Or the one that most answers to ur problem. This is roughly how the system goes about..
Yah u just need to be more active around here. Maybe u can start by helping ppl solve their questions. Because u get most pts for providing a best answer =)

I'm moving to level 3 as I answer this question, just ask and answer, I try to only answer questions I know something about, but lots just answer for points.
