Take acting lessons.
Buy a copy of Ross Reports, it lists the names and addresses of casting directors of television and movies. You can find it at newstands in L.A. Mail your headshot and resume to everyone listed.
Purchase" BackstageWest," it is a weekly newspaper that lists auditions. Aspiring actors buy a copy every week. I don't know when it hits the newstands, in L.A., if you have actor friends, they can tell you what day it will be on the newstands.

Get your butt to Hollywood and hit the pavement.
Act like a star and you will become a star.
Doesn't hurt to get a good agent.
DON'T pay anybody for anything.

take theatre. I also remember someone telling me that if you look in the add of a news paper you can find movies or comercial. check it out and go audition for one!
