I don't believe in God and if there were such a being, it is doubtful that it would have a sex, since the typical necessity for reproduction may not be. Unless of course God continually creates universes (many universe theories exist) and one of God's offspring get put in charge....highly unlikely.
Buddhism is as close to religion as I could possibly get after having been raised a catholic in catholic school.
I do like the fact that Buddhism contains no dogma. I also like the fact that John Bell (Irish physicist) with his famous thorem proved the interconnectedness of everything and picked up the Nobel prize for his insite...Buddha may have been on to something...take care

Not only is it absurd to suppose God has a gender, it is unwarranted to suppose God is a person.
Look at what's involved in theism (that is, belief in God). We assume that because the world contains persons the origin of the world must be some kind of person (whom we call call God) - but that does not follow. Granted that the world developed or evolved from some fundamental set of principles, and that process gave rise to persons, it does not follow that the original principles were laid down by a Person (God). There might be a God, but that God is or was a Person is an unwarranted assumption. And a grossly arrogant one.

E = 1. God i.e., the Creator is a power with no form, no sex. He doesn't need to have sex cause He is the Creator of such form that no sooner He imagines a thing or a theme that takes shape or form. He doesn't need to handle things by His own hand.
In His word He is neither begotten, cause if He were so then the word Creator would not have gone for Him, nor He begots. He has no hunger no thirst. That is why He has been forever and will be for ever. He is neither 'he' within the meaning of male nor He is 'she' within the meaning of female.

_When God Was A Woman_ by Merlin Stone --- a most intriguing book!
I'm more sympathetic to classical polytheism in that one finds many images and concepts of Deity --- far less limiting, for picturing God as absolute/infinite/omnipotent is to picture nothing at all and to invite a host of philosophic contradictions. A sense of tolerence comes from accepting that God can have many different masks, besed on the needs of the seeker.

In fact god is not a he or she since HE is beyond any gender, matter or thing.
He is completely An Unseen but Extreme and Infinty Powerd Singular only, Whom can be realised or revealed only on complete blindfaith, ultimate trust, sumission & surrender.
Well , atleast u believe in faith, so great to counting your GOD by the faith itself.

Well if God was female, there wouldn't be such a thing as bad odour, pets would use the toilet, flowers would last longer, men would be more sensitive, women could piss standing, and the G spot would be lower and more accessible lol.. skin wouldn't sag and stretch.. anyway the world wouldn't be so messy..
Anyway I think God is just energy.. with male tendencies.. lol

You believe in faith is good news. And practise twice a day is better news.
Its ok if you dont believe in God.And if you dont, what difference it makes if God is man or women. Even looking at the question from either Male or Female vision?

Since "God the father" is a prominent term I would conclude that the God of the Christians, Jew, Muslims is male. However, if you are more comfort able with God as female or genderless I don't think that you will be wrong.

God's sex is the same as the sex of the mind in which it exists.

God is both, in Genesis He created us male and female and then we were complete in his image. the Bible does refer to God in the feminine at times.
