yeah, i'm a soccer fan since 1990, when i first watched the 1990 World Cup. Paul Gascoigne of ENGLAND's cried after the semi-final defeat was the first image i saw.

I have been playing since I was four (I am only 15). My first memory of a world cup game was the final of France 98. Four years later, with Korea/Japan 2002, I really got into it, taping games when I could. After that, I was hooked. I was looking forward to this tournament two years before it actually began, and in roughly 12 hours, when it will all be over, will begin looking forward to South Africa 2010. Although this tournament hasnt been one of the best, the FIFA World Cup is just the greatest sports tournament in the world, single or multi-sport. While just plain old soccer matches are good, World Cup matches are the best because you know that the players know that it is the most important tournament. Hell, it takes two years just to get into it. The atmosphere throughout the tournament is always marvelous, and thats why it is so wonderful.

No. I live in a World Cup city. I dodge World Cup traffic. I don't leave my house on World Cup days. I like soccer, but only if people I know are playing. Its been nice to have stores open later at night and on Sundays, but I'll be glad when soccer fever is over. The celebrations are fun, so is the decorations. But I'm ready for normal again.

Yeah, 1998 wc. I watched alot of games with friends. Really interesting. Now I really like soccer after watching the 1998 wc.

Hey, welcome to the club my friend, hahaha ...you have no idea how great it is to hear someone becomes a fan .. see, World Cup is fantastic, isn't it?
I like football .. but normally I'm too busy to watch the League game. I try to watch Champions League final, and all that sort of games. But I will never miss the World Cup.

totally..i never really cared about soccer but seeing great teams representating their own countries..playing in a grand arena with fans cheering,crying and supporting one another..it not only shows sportmanship bwt teams but that of the people as well.awesome,..!

oh yes!! definitely.. Germany didnt make it to play on sunday afternoon.. but man they played great today!! 3-1. whoo!!! I'm definitely a fan now!! Ballack, Lahm, Podolski.. Even Nuno Gomes on Portugal. great players
