I usually watch a movie and it helps me fall asleep but Im just not in the sleeping feeling

roll over so you're on your stomach, put your head underneath your arm and breath like that for a while and then all that carbon dioxide and lack of air gets you to sleep, i guess. i dont want to go to sleep and dont need to, but you just have to lie down with the lights off and you'll sleep in about 30 min. that's how long it takes me unless i force myself, and then it takes an hour or two because i wanted to stay awake.

i know what will make you stay awake no matter how tired you are! don't drink coffee at night. you'll get so tired, but the caffiene forces you to stay awake. its horrible. caffiene does work.

when lying in bed do not move at all, try to keep still and imagine this: a sunset or night sky and a coastlin. imagine the waves, the movement, the noise, the smells, try as hard as possible to get this picture in yourmind and within 5-10 minutes you should be asleep if you did it right

Keep the TV out of the bedroom. Don't do anything but sleep in your bed. No eating, watching TV, or whatever.
Just use your bed for sleeping...and don't think about anything.
I am an insomniac...I took my TV out of my room...bed time changed to 2 hours earlier...its working!!

Read a book; or just lay in bed until you get so tired or bored that you have nothing else to do, except sleep.

i asked a Q like this last night every-1 told me 2 listen 2 slow classical music i did and it was really boring but maybe 2 u it wont be
