Who do ya think created us then and please don't tell me Evolution.

We had to have been created by an Intellegent Designer and I believe it was God.

However if you are so sure there is no God then name anyone ya want as an Intellegent Designer.

God himself is Alpha and Omega - the beginning and the end. He already exists even before we did. We may not have the capacity to explain or just understand where He came from, but that doesnt mean He doesnt exist. ^ ^

first, do u believe you have a soul?
second, who do u think you are, the body or the soul?
third, who do u think made the soul?

The humanity, the world, the universe... who do u think created it? Only a very powerful being can create such amazing things. an omnipotent being, the source of everything in this vast universe. Oh yes there is God. ^ ^

If you believe in hell, demons and evil - definitely there is God ^ ^

Yes it is true to say that "SEEING IS BELIEVING." But remember, it's not only the eyes can see.. ^ ^ but your heart as well. And by heart, we believe there is that powerful being. That there is God.

Maybe it's just hard for you to believe such immaterial being because you dont have the capacity of explaining every minute(small) detail of what God is or where He came from... You are not alone, we all dont have such capacity. ^ ^ we are limited.

Just think about this one, you are a blind person in the center of a room. in the corner of the room, there is a ball. but you cant see the ball. you have a friend who called you (let's assume you are already holding the phone ^ ^). your friend can't prove that there is a ball in the corner of your room right? BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THE BALL DOESNT EXIST. SAME THING WITH GOD. ^ ^

god bless you dear! ^ ^

The question you ask is what philosophers call "First Cause". If everything comes from something else, whether born or made, then what was the first thing that wasn't caused by anyone else?

"God" is a common answer because it is a concept that includes the mystical and unexplainable, and therefore in theory requires no explanation. IMHO it's a sellout way to answer a question, granted, an unanswerable question.

The God concept is one that cannot be proven (the best have tried!) by its very nature. We can't go back to the beginning. We can't define 'good' or 'perfect' outside of our cultural backgrounds. We tend to pin things on God that we can't explain otherwise.

Don't throw the Bible away quite so quickly though. There is a genuine human need for hope, for guidance, for the belief that someone they can't explain is watching out for them. For that reason whether God exists is irrelevant. The *belief in* God exists because it fills a need.

God is in everything! I do believe in God, but I too have wondered where he came from. I would rather believe than to think that my entire life and all that I have been taught has been a lie. Besides, sometime when I pray I swear he gives me the right answers. You just have to clear your mind and listen. He is there. Don't give up. I made it through what you are going through and I hope you can do the same. Good Luck.

If you would like to know where He came from, then ask yourself this: where did you come from? If you go all the way back to the beginning of time, which is more plausible: that the universe suddenly created itself out of nothing, or that there was a First Mover who was there to get the ball rolling, so to speak?

In other words, at the Big Bang, when all the material in the universe was compressed down to one infintesimal point, where did that point come from? If it didn't come from God, then from where?

I hope you don't just base you r understanding of the absolute on one book...

That would be a pretty narrow minded view. Then again, if Christianity and the Bible are the only things that others have used to talk to you about God, then i understand.

It is OK, if you don't believe. The Big Cheese believes in you.

I don't think there is a god? < this is you thinking.
I think there is a god? < this is me thinking.
I want to point out here that it doesn't matter what either one of us thinks. What we think does not change reality.

Let me make this more physical for both of us.

I think that I can walk on water. < this is my thinking
I don't think I can walk on water. < I am saying this for you, o.k.

Again, what we think about walking on water has not changed reality. BUT what I think has altered what I might do!!! You do not think you can walk on water - so you may never try.
I on the other hand, because I believe it is possible, my walk down to the lake and give it a try!!! Do you see the difference?

Now you are going to say that the result will be that I get very wet. You are right. BUT you must see that what I believe put me in a position to try to walk on water.

Now I tell you:
BELIEF TAKES YOU TO THE WATERS EDGE, BUT ONLY FAITH WILL WALK IT.

Belief in God changes nothing in reality but your position to consider the posibilities of God. Only faith, not belief, can make contact with God.

What then is faith?
Let me start with Communion. Communion is not something you take or a ritual. Communion is a spiritual ability that you have inside you. Faith is not a book full of things you think are absolutley right or rituals that you perform or that are performed for you. Faith is not something you think but something you exercise. Faith is a sixth and critical sense of any human being who is to be countd as Gods' offspring.

Until you can make some kind of contact with God, anything to do with spiritual reality will be out of your reach. If you get no sense of God looking at the night sk, or being alone in the mountains, or sailing alone at sea ....If nothing else start off with a prayer... God if you are real show me!

The concept of gods is a great way of controlling small and large populations in thought, word and deed.

So much in life is inexplicable. In the same way that old nautical maps bore the legend "Here there be dragons" where mariners could not or would not go, so our lives are marked "Here be God/s" where our understanding ends.

The first god appeared in a puff of smoke the instant the first human stopped thinking.

I agree with you. But you are asking for a lot of people to answer essay like questions. These religious faithfuls have much to explain and little solid evidence. Much of it having to be based on belief. Unfortunately for them, most of the evidence can be countered or seen through various eyes. Perhaps there is an entity out there that is of greater power than us, that I would argue little against, but the odds of being one particular god, his creation, etc... the explanations through the bible, I agree with your assessment.

well if you think that there is no god then who made us and who made the universe or you really think that we are just an accident i think that even if man transformed the bible still some superior power created us whether you like it or not nothing comes from nothing there is always a creator his name i don't really know but billions of stars, galaxies and an endless universe speak of the hand of a creator there forth there is a god.

I can give u both evidence and proof of the existence, you just move to the Southern Part of India, there lives my guru, SAI BABA. He is the only god who has walks among men. I am sure you would never believe me rite now, and zat never for life for such a trivial issue go to India for zat, but believe me he exists. I also never believed at first but seeing the miracles he did to my anguished family personnaly, I was forced to believe. By the way who SAI BABA????
