19 and still got high pitched voice. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help my voice to break?
I drink a lot of alcohol and Refuse to smoke!

It hasn't bothered me for years but in this last week I have had a lot of grief and been made fun of.

Two things may have an effect for the same reason:
i) smoke cigars and drink whisky
ii) shout alot eg as in karate like primal screaming ( hope u live jin the countryside)
Both of these things stress your throat, including your vocal cords. This results in a thickening of your vocal cords, which make them vibrate in a more gravelly fashion. I note you don't smoke. So it looks like the shoutihg one for you. I'm not 100% sure that the gravelly tone will actually lower the pitch, you may end up sounding like the possessed person in the exorcist !!! Be afraid, be very afraid. Ahhhhhhhh.

don't drink because you'll get a beer belly and that's unattractive and smoking is sometimes a turn off and if your voice is high pitch oh well it's you - don't try and change it -if it was meant for you to have a deep voice then you would have who knows if you plan on getting married it may be a turn on for your wife

You can have a high voice and still be masculine. John Travolta, Steven Seagal, and Christopher Walken are kind of high pitched, but they are very tough. You have to develop a personality.

So what embrace it, I have a male friend who is 32 and his voice is still fairly high pitched and he has no problems doing anything he acts gets dates. So it's really nothing to worry about

I heard an interview with a vocal coach. He advised men to speak in a lower octave if their voice was naturally high. I can speak higher or lower if I want to. You could practice doing it for longer periods every day. Eventually it will be automatic.

high-pitched like how?girlie high-pitched or just plain higher voice range?dun worry if ur voice is on the high vocal range.some ppl are born with it.

See your doctor and see what he thinks. Usually a high voice in adult males means you have a lack of testosterone.

Go check out some guys at a night club or something. Then maybe you'll see why your voice is so high pitched... hehehe...
