when a TFT Computer Monitor can be used as T.V with an external T.V Tuner then why should one buy a LCD T.V which is very costly in comparison to Computer Monitor. Please also tell which is the best option and why

Other than that it can't be used as a tv right out of the box, there is no difference or almost no difference whatsoever.

LCD=Liquid Crystal Display, and TFT=Thin Film Technolygy.
we usually call the lcd monitor is TFT LCD.
the major different between TFT LCD TV and Computer Monitor TFT LCD is screen brightness. LCD TV's back light is supported by much more lamps then computer lcd monitor.

tft uses the normal pixels that light up... lcd is liquid crystal display. the lcd for one, is wayyy clearer and nicer

LCD TV has embedded ATSC tuner.
A monitor doesn't, you have to buy external HDTV tuner.
