Comfortability is something that you must acquire on your own. Just remember that you are who you are, and if you're feeling uncomfortable about it, then you need to figure out why you are feeling that way. At the end of the day, it all depends on you, and if you are basing your discomfort on society, then you have a bigger issue than being comfortable with your sexuality. The best advice I can give you is that throughout your life, people will come and go, people will change and remain the same, even you will change, and even though all of this is happening, in that time period, you will still only have the one person that was there with you from the beginning...yourself...and you will be there with you to the end. Who's opinion matters most in this scenario? Don't take a lifetime to think about it.

It is really up to you to find acceptance of yourself within yourself without fishing for compliments. Confront the myths you and others have created regarding sexuality. In my view sexuality is way too over emphasised in our times. Yes, there are a lot of negative gay haters out there, but its obvious where they are at. Surely they are not happy people, who have the desire to make some more vulnerable people, like gays, their victims of hate. Develop understanding in other peoples ignorance, especially the religious ones.

It can take a while for one to feel comfortable about their sexuality. You need to seek the help/support of a LGBT organisation or counsellor. Therapy aims to tackle the reasons why your uncomfortable e.g. family, religion, society. There is no short-cut - you have to be patient, and deal with it constructively (e.g. by contacting a LGBT group or therapist). Even the most militant of gays required time to come to terms with who they are.

There is nothing to feel uncomfortable about. There are other people just like you in the world. Plenty of people who are worried about what other people may think, but you only have to worry about how you feel and what you think. if friends turn their back on you, they're not really your friends. Some if not all parts of you family will be there if they truly love you.

just join the community where your sexuality is prevalent. You'll make friends who are just like you and you will start to become more comfortable with who you are.

Hah, I don't agree with people being unique. I think we're all pretty much the same.

There are tons of people who are fine with their sexuality. Even though there are so many stupid assholes who are against it, the people you hang out with will probably all be fine with it.

Stop caring about the judgement of others and accept yourself for who you are. This is the only way for you to be happy and functional in this world.

If you aren't comfortable with who you are, how do you expect your partner to be comfortable with you? I would suggest therapy.
