the reciprocal of 2/5 is 5/2. estimate of 9 5/6 by 2 1/8, i would say about 5. and 6 divided by half is 12.

The recipricle (switch the numerator with the demonenator)....so 2/5 is 5/2 or 2 1/2.
9 5/6 = 59/6 .......2 1/8 = 17/8
(when deviding fractions.... take the reciprical of the second number and times is by the first.[multiply across])
59/6 * 8/17 = roughly 470/100 so about 5.
6 divided by 1/2= 6 x 2= 12.

recoiprocal is 5/2 estimation 3 3/4 and 12 because when you divide by a half its like multiplyin gby 2
