my husband went to a party on year as a flaming d ick, won $300 for best costume too

My son's birthday is on Halloween, so he always makes a big production of his costume. I think my favorite was one year that he went as roadkill. He dressed all in black, with a double yellow stripe down the front, and pinned a stuffed animal to his chest. That one got a lot of laughs. Another time he went as Santa Claus - that one also got a great reception, because people couldn't believe they'd never thought of it.

Go with a theme. I have always wanted to try with my friends.
Ronald, Grimace, Birdie etc
The bride, budd, O-ren etc (My wife and I were Crazy 88 last year)
The funniest though that I ever say in person was these two guys that dressed up as Sigfried and Roy. They have a little stuffed tiger with fake blood. Pure comedy
A friend of mine donned a backpack, bike helmet, short sleeve shirt and tie as ...you guessed it. Be careful not to offend with this one.
The same guy also wore a filthy t shirt, ACDC hat, headphones and was holding one of those Mattress world signs. I don't know if everyone has those guys all over, but we do in Portland.

Hmm... well, there was once I dressed up as Frankenstien's wife, and another where i dressed up as a crayon, and could not go to the toilet when i wanted to relieve myself because, well, it's a crayon costume. BUt none of them are that funny...

Year before last, I went as Little Bo Peep and her sheep. I was dressed with the pantalooms, dress, spiral curls, and shepherd's crook in hand. My two tiny yorkies were dressed as sheep. I carried one and that other was walking beside me on a leash.

Once I saw a guy in full out Jesus outfit at a club (Halloween Party)... The long hair, beard and all. I asked him if he would change my water into wine and "Jesus" told me, I was the 9th person to ask him to perform that miracle for the night. ^_^
It was pretty funny seeing "Jesus" gettin jiggy with it on the dance floor!

Last year I went as Lizzie Borden. It was so much fun carrying around an (pretend) axe! ((If you don't know who she is, look her up. ^__^))
