Sometimes when I download stuff, and dont like the stupid things ive done (like load mozilla firefox and a thousand addons) I want to reload and start from scratch. Unfortunately, when i reinstall the program from the net, it remembers what I had before and reinstalls that too. How to just say, reinstall firefox without them reinstalling all of my f*** ups from before.,

Several times I went through my computer and removed all traces of firefox. I even have a computer tune up program that helps me do that. Still didnt work. Cleared the registry and all program files. When reinstalled, still installed everything from before.

Uninstall the program. Then go into My computer, C:, program files, and delete the Firefox folder.

Otherwise you can go in and search your computer for anything with the word Firefox in it and delete every file that comes up. Firefox is almost as bad as AOL...

You must remove all those programs first, goto control panel, add/remove programs, then remove that program, then try to reinstall.
