You shave your legs! Short shorts and Women's underware.

My understanding of Metrosexual is a man who knows how to dress, coordinate outfits and wear them well. And is in touch with his femine side while not being gay. (I am not convinced that this applies to you from what you written so far.) It doesn't sound like you know how to dress.

metrosexual
A metrosexual is defined as a dandyish narcissist in love with not only himself, but also his urban lifestyle; a straight man who is in touch with his feminine side.

According to The Word Spy, Mark Simpson coined the term "metrosexual" in 1994, in an article in The Independent. His description of someone who is a metrosexual was printed on the internet's Salon.com. He wrote, "The typical metrosexual is a young man with money to spend, living in or within easy reach of a metropolis – because that's where all the best shops, clubs, gyms and hairdressers are. He might be officially gay, straight or bisexual, but this is utterly immaterial because he has clearly taken himself as his own love object and pleasure as his sexual preference." – Mark Simpson, "Meet the metrosexual," Salon.com, July 22, 2002

metrosexual

an urban male with a strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle (aesthete, bon vivant, epicure, sensualist)

Evolution of the Word

David Beckham is the "metrosexual icon."The origin of the term traces to a 1200 word article titled "Here come the mirror men" dissecting the new urbane man by Mark Simpson, published on November 15, 1994 in The Independent, a major British daily. Barely any usage of the term in print publications can be found in the same decade. Following Mark Simpson's use of the term in a Salon.com article entitled "Meet the metrosexual" (July 22, 2002), there was a sudden growth in the popularity and usage of the term to describe the phenomena whose typicality is expressed brashly by Simpson as, "...a young man with money to spend, living in or within easy reach of a metropolis — because that's where all the best shops, clubs, gyms and hairdressers are. He might be officially gay, straight or bisexual, but this is utterly immaterial because he has clearly taken himself as his own love object and pleasure as his sexual preference. Particular professions, such as modeling, waiting tables, media, pop music and, nowadays, sport, seem to attract them but, truth be told, like male vanity products and herpes, they're pretty much everywhere." Beginning June 2003, the term frequently appeared in the British press.

A June 22, 2003 New York Times article titled "Metrosexuals Come Out" inaugurated fashionable usage of the word in the American media. The rising popularity of use followed the increasing integration of gay men into mainstream society and a correspondingly decreased taboo towards homosexuality and changing masculinity.

Actually, you just sound like you prefer to wear women's clothes. Nothing wrong with that, they're more comfortable anyway. A metrosexual is a man that spends a great deal of time on his grooming. (A straight man) Multiple hair products, facials, manicures, any man that spends an amount of money on skincare products and more than 30 minutes at a time preparing to go somewhere is a metrosexual.

Metrosexuality is, according to British journalist Mark Simpson, the trait of an urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. Simpson coined the term in 1994 in an article in the The Independent [1] after writing his book about contemporary masculine identity Male Impersonators: Men Performing Masculinity. Simpson described the effect of consumerism and media proliferation, particularly the men’s style press, on traditional masculinity.

Metrosexuals are straight guys that are into things that are stereotypically what gay guys are into. Like skin products, decorating, cooking, theater. What you do sounds like a cross dressing fetish, which is a totally different thing, and is usually not a sign of homosexuality or metrosexuality.

Who cares what people say? There is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself. The only thing that makes you gay is having sex with men. If you don't do that or want to do that you are straight, no matter how smooth your legs might be!
