That is a rather ignorant question to ask, but who really knows where AIDS came from? AIDS is a disease that stems from the viral infection known as HIV. The first case of HIV was reported to come from a man that slept with a number of people. Whether those people were male or female, you need to do the research. Whether that man slept with monkeys, horses, or other men is dependent on which myth you read. However, a myth is nothing more than an unproven fact. If you want your question to be answered, you need to seek out information from reliable sources, which can be found by scientific organizations, governmental agencies, and the like. Even then, take what you find out with a grain of sand as no one's information is as solid as the primary source, who is probably dead at this point.

No. It originated with a monkey in Africa.
Two species of HIV infect humans: HIV-1 and HIV-2. HIV-1 is more virulent and more easily transmitted. HIV-1 is the source of the majority of HIV infections throughout the world, while HIV-2 is not as easily transmitted and is largely confined to West Africa.[102] Both HIV-1 and HIV-2 are of primate origin. The origin of HIV-1 is the Central Common Chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes troglodytes) found in southern Cameroon.[103] It is established that HIV-2 originated from the Sooty Mangabey (Cercocebus atys), an Old World monkey of Guinea Bissau, Gabon, and Cameroon.
Although a variety of theories exist explaining the transfer of HIV to humans, there is no widely accepted scientific consensus of any single hypothesis and the topic remains controversial. Freelance journalist Tom Curtis discussed one currently controversial possibility for the origin of HIV/AIDS in a 1992 Rolling Stone magazine article. He put forward what is now known as the OPV AIDS hypothesis, which suggests that AIDS was inadvertently caused in the late 1950s in the Belgian Congo by Hilary Koprowski's research into a polio vaccine.[104] Although subsequently retracted due to libel issues surrounding its claims, the Rolling Stone article motivated another freelance journalist, Edward Hooper, to probe more deeply into this subject. Hooper's research resulted in his publishing a 1999 book, The River, in which he alleged that an experimental oral polio vaccine prepared using chimpanzee kidney tissue was the route through which simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) crossed into humans to become HIV, thus starting the human AIDS pandemic.[105] Subsequently, this hypothesis has been refuted by examination of these original polio vaccine stocks and establishing that they do not contain material of chimpanzee origin.[106]

Gaynism? What is that?
If you are asking if AIDS started in gays, the answer is no. It started in the Straight community in Africa. It came to the US gay population from a Canadian Bisexual Flight Attendent. Do a yahoo search for Patient Zero. And read a book.

What I had heard is that in Africa, people contracted it from blood contact when they were butchering monkey (for food).
I heard that it really spread when the missionaries lined up entire villiages, and then went down the line giving vaccines to everybody with the same needle, spreading it to everybody down line from the infected person.
And yes, it came across the ocean with patient zero. It is an STD, that is passed on by sex, not orientation.

Aids originated in the animal kingdom, from animals such as lions and monkeys. It is believed that aids was transferred to humans from humans eating aids infested chimps. It had nothing to do with gays.

I agree with nemesis, AIDS, or any STD for that matter, knows no race, sexual orientation, sex, etc. AIDS came from African monkey sex or so they say, but i'm not touching that one. And any way there are just as many heteros that have passed AIDS on as there are gay people that have!

they say aids came from monkeys in Africa, and humans got it from, eating the monkeys, getting attacked, or having sex with them, being gay is just an easy way to pass it around.
