Hi, im 14 and no matter what you say i thought i was in love until i ran away to this boys house named devin and well he called his girl-freind and she came over and almost kicked my butt.
i have nown devin and dated him for 2 years please help me cure this heart i can't even get out of bed all i do is eat sleep and think about him. help me

Honey, Devin is a coward. He wasn't man enough to break up with you himself, so he had to let a girl do the dirty trick for him. I've had my heart broken before, and thought I'd die. Guess what , I didn't. I cried, ate , didn't want to do anything,but I lived. It will take a little time, but you seem like a nice girl. The guys will realize that you're available and you'll soon be saying, "Devin who?" Revenge is sweet. Poor old Devin won't know what hit him when he sees you out with another guy.

Ok... first of all honey, you are only 14. There will be other guys, trust me. And two, time is the only thing that can cure a broken heart. And in that time you need to find things to do like get involved with a club at school, go shopping with your friends. I know it sounds lame but chill with the parents. Sometimes a mom can be a girls bestfriend, especially when we are hurting deeply, which to me sounds like you are. I know one thing darlin', he's NOT worth the time or the trouble if he has another girl he's been seeing while he was with you. You need to find a boy that will respect you and treat you right. And One more thing. ENJOY BEING YOUNG!!! You should not spend your teen years in bed over a loser!!!

Just get up from your bed, take a bath or shower, call a friend or two, and go out for a movie or shopping. The best is go for a walk in the park, sit under the sun, watch the birds sing, butterflies flap their wings, and take a deep breathe of fresh air.
There's so much about life than *a* guy. You're still young, there're lots of guys on your way to adulthood. Do one thing at a time and enjoy. You're not in a hurry, are you?
Don't stuff yourself, and watch your weight. You need a good shape for another romance. Keep in shape! and Smile!

First thing to remember is that everything happens for a reason. Take this as a lesson learned and move on to something other than boys! There is plenty of time for them. Just remember what you saw in Devin wasn't all that good after all (he also had another girlfriend). Remember at this age, you should be having the time of your life (join an extracurricular activity with the school...cheerleading, track, or just studying trying to be the best you can be for yourself & no one else). You don't die from a broken heart, you only wish you could. I believe you were in love, I know how you feel. Sometimes you just need to move on. Don't associate or communicate with him because you'll only want him more and get rid of everything that reminds you of him (if you truely love him then he'll be everywhere to you but you just have to change your thoughts). Distance yourself from him and resist all temptation. There's nothing you can do, there's nothing that can cure a broken heart. Chocolate may help. Don't do anything drastic though. I promise with all my heart you'll make it just keep moving on... You can't hold onto something that's not there, so let go... It only takes a few moments to say hello but forever to say goodbye.

you can't cure a broken heart. what you can do is force yourself to get over it. the best thing to do is to get up, get out, and do things. spend time with your friends, and find some hobbies to keep you occupied.
you deserve to be happy, so don't spend anymore of your time laying around feeling sorry for yourself. make happiness happen!

Time will heal...try and get out with friends and you meet some new boy you like enough to ease the pain...I'm 33 and been there more than once. Hang in there each day will get better!

there is no cure...these things takes time and eventually it will pass.
but it helps to start dating other people even if you still think about ur ex all the time...its ok to.
