Only if you love your baby and care about its well-being. Babies don't usually cry for the fun of it. Can you come up with a good reason for not checking on it? Don't want to be bothered? Then you shouldn't have had it.

Don't do it to often because they will learn every time they cry you will pick them up, with mine i let cry for a few minuets and then checked on them but didn't pick them up unless you they wanted a hug. ;o)

I dont have one im 14.-but she(my mom) givers her a sipy cup or a couple of golfish crackers and she learns to go back to sleep after a while.at first, she was real fussy but they get better-trust me:-)

I dont jump everytime my son cries. I let him work it out first. If he cries OUT, i go to him.
