Because it's very rarely used..... mainly only for business transactions.
Only time I've ever seen one was as long ago as sometime around 1988 from one of the local builders buying probably barely more than £5 worth of stuff from my Dad's shop.

The £20 is the most used so needs to get replaced alot also to strive against human beings attempting to make pretend notes also the most person-pleasant be conscious for use. £50 are uncommon I easily have in ordinary words ever had some in my existence and that i'm 30 years previous. they could replace the £50 be conscious yet do not imagine it's going to be each and every time quickly.

The 50 Pound Bill is used rarely, as payments of such large amounts are usually made in check or credit card. it would not be worth it for them to change it.

Then again, I have to wonder if this is true that it hasn't changed, although I haven't seen one for a while.
