I doubt it will ever be accepted in the Philippines

the Philippines is a very traditional and religious country

a lot of people would oppose to this

I think it will be ages before mercy killing will be accepted in the Philippines. Philippines is largely populated by catholics so it will be a long time before the people can accept the idea of mercy killing
