I went to the doctor, because I thought I was having a miscarriage, but the baby seems to be fine. But the bleeding I experienced was sort of heavy. It lasted about 2 or 3 days.

The doctors are still gonna keep a close check on me.
Has this happened to anyone?? If so, what was the cause??

Yes, this happened to me. They didn't specify a cause, but I think I was either miscarrying a twin or it was a blighted ovum. My son is 6 now and doing fine.

Yes! I continued bleeding off and on through my entire pregnancy. The cause... when my daughter was born, the doctor had induced labor and the drip was set too high and I couldn't control the pushing urge.As a result my uterus tore and I hemorrhaged. The doctor stuffed gauze inside me. After her birth when I got my period each month I bled so heavily that I had to use pampers to catch the blood. The doctor said it was nothing to worry about. Then 1 1/2 yrs later I got pregnant again, In the 3rd month I started bleeding. The doctor was going to do a DNC because I had ,had a miscarriage.Well I refused to belive this so I got a second opinion. I thank God I did that,I had a beautiful baby boy 5 months later. Now,the underlying cause of the bleeding was made clear the day he was born.At 6 am my water broke and it was a greenish color.I went to the hospital and they were concerned the baby was breech. They did an ultra sound,he was in the correct position. The doctor said there appeared to be a mass of something in there with him.He thought it was the afterbirth.Three hours later I was using the bathroom and had an urge to push then all of a sudden something was delivered.I pushed the call button. To all our surprize.it was a huge wad of gauze! That's right the gauze the other doctor had left inside me when my daughter was born. Also in my 4th month of pregnancy I lost the sight in my left eye and severly weakened my right eye sight.Three different doctors decided it was all related to the gauze. And if I hadn't gotten pregnant when I did,I probably would have died from internal infection in a few weeks to a couple of months! So take a lesson... when you feel something isn't right..it's your body, if you're not satisfied with the answers your given, don't hesitate to get a second or even a third opinion!

ummm it could be from having sex with your partner....
when you have sex some of your inner tissues may become irritated from the pressure of being pregnant and the penis inside of you......if the baby is doing okay and everything, try not to worry too much b/c stress is BAD when prego.....
the baby should start to move at about 5 months so just pay attention to movement when the baby starts to move and if you feel at all uncomfortable, call the doctor, or even go to the meergency room b/c your's and your baby's lives are #1.....
but you're prolly okay....just be sure the doctor does keep a close check on you and don't b afraid to speak up.......
go with your motherly instinct.....
trust me...it'll hit you when you need it!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!

I had mild spotting once or twice a week for my whole pregnancy. At around 21 weeks, I had a more significant amt of bleeding, but it only lasted for one day. They said I had a cronic abruption, and put me on bed rest. I had to take it easy for the rest of my pregnancy and I delivered a healthy baby girl. She's 5 months now.

Yes this happened to me with my last child (now 4), I was put on bed rest and everything went great. Just rest, there are women who menstruate throughout their pregnancy
