Whats the best "doctor" recommended fetal heartbeat doppler? Something under $200?

Apparently the Bebe Sounds heartbeat doppler is quite good. Perhaps you could look at some reviews for them? I think they are quite cheap.

I do however recommend that you rent a 'proper' fetal heartbeat doppler. If you are in America, you can hire them (can find websites to do so), for about $30 a month.

Good luck!

I assume you're asking what ultrasound device you should buy to use in your own home? If that's the question, I would say *NONE OF THEM!!*

Ultrasound has never been proven safe. Why would you want to expose your unborn child to more of the radiation than your doctor already does?! You know...x-rays were once "perfectly safe"; they weren't even considered a medical device--shoe stores used to have them so that you could see how a shoe fit (I guess it was too much trouble for an actual human being to *feel* it to see if it was a good fit!!). Ultrasound is the newest toy; it's just like with drugs--you have to use it a lot quickly while it's still safe...
