Italy is great coz they have a certain flavour about them which gives them an edge over others

They are great at the World Cup just because they paid referees off to invent penalty kicks for them.
And the culture... the only good thing is the food, despite that, is the dirtiest, filthiest country of the whole European Union !!!
Is the only place where you'll see miles and miles of garbage along the highway...
The only place where you'll see people peeing in the phone booths...
The only place where you'll see bikers riding on the sidewalks...
The only place where traffic is a hazard to everyone...
The only thing Italians have invented was Maffia and Camorra.
So, no, not too great on my opinion.

The same reason every team that made it to the world cup - practice, hard work, and a little luck. Italy is no better or no worse than the other teams. They all have skill, they all cheat, they all try a draw the foul.

Italy is beautiful and has a wonderful culture. i agree with juventina, jose* doesn't know wot he's talkn about. you find bikers on the sidewalks almost anywhere plus traffic is more of a hazard in South Africa. You ever bn on their highways when it's peak traffic? By the way: la cosa nostra (mafia) started in sicily. italy delivered such great scientists as galileo galilei and leonardo da vinci. if it wasn't 4 them, we would've taken longer 2 invent airplanes and a lot of people wud still be under the impression that the Earth is flat.

They are not great, they ae just lucky to be in the final. But...
they showed us the passion of football. They gave us the hope that every struggling moment, it will have the better later.
Italy was criticized, because of their opening performance. Nobody expect them to finish at this final stage. But they proved it, they deny the critics..They showed they are still competitors and a team others should be aware.
That made ITALY so great.
