What is the difference between a "sexy heels" and "trashy heels"?

I don't know, I never thought of heels as trashy... until last month when my 14 y/o wanted to wear heels for her graduation... she picked some clear heels....and for some reason, I took them back and opted for a pair that were just a little less "trashy"

It's hard to explain, it was just my daughter and I kept thinking the heels looked like "stripper" shoes. They were clear and had lights that lit up when walked in. I even asked the babysitters who are early 20's and they said they wouldn't wear them, at least not to graduation....

Here's a man's point of view. It doesn't matter what the shoes are made from, as some pointed out. It does matter the color, red always lend towards trashy and always the outfit, jeans are sexy with high heels and classy pant suits.

If you don't want to look trashy, you should worry more about the outfit then the shoe, don't wear freakin mini skirts with your high heels., no matter how young, thin, or beautiful you are, THERE ALWAYS A BAD IDEA.

P.S. Straps are cute and sexy, but if you have enough string to lasso a cow from 100 yards, NO< NO

Heels are sexy depending on the outfit they're worn with. A heel that replicates those that strippers wear can only be worn in the club and are sexy in the club. But those same heels worn with a work suit are considered to be trashy. Heels worn with a work suit that are sexy are anything open-toed, embellished, pointy-toed or different from your basic boring pump.

The rest of the outfit makes all the difference! I'm 33, and wear my heels in a corporate setting with pants, jeans and a nice blouse or sweater. With a pair of loud, avante guarde or saucy shoes, the rest of the outfit can be more conservative to balance the shoes. (Jeans + brown sweater + gold platform heels)

You're right. 'Classy' highlights & showcases a body to its best advantage without necessarily showing a lot of flesh. There is no regard for such subtleties with 'trashy' dressing. It involves the wearing of clothes as purely as a display of skin, particularly butt, boobs & legs. But as ever with aesthetics, some people might be considered able to carry that off a little better than others.

Quality and Price
Sexy heels are made with quality materials (leather) and are costly.
Hooker heels (trashy) are made with synthetic materials(vinyl) and don't cost as much.
